RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor and manage Murex EOD processes during London hours.
- Provide Level 2 (L2) and Level 3 (L3) technical support for Murex production.
- Address and resolve incidents and issues through change tickets.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement system improvements.
- Perform system health checks and proactively identify potential issues.
- Generate and analyze reports related to system performance and incidents.
- Ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and maintain high levels of system uptime.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to report on the status of incidents and system health.
SKILLS:
Must have
- 7 years of experience in Cloud Tech Support
- Cloud DevOPS: Experience in cloud infrastructure management and automation. Ability to deploy, manage, and monitor applications in a cloud environment.
- Red Hat Linux Administration: Strong expertise in Linux systems, including Java processes, SWAP management, mount points, and Active Directory (AD) integration.
- Oracle 19c Performance Tuning: Proficient in writing reports, tuning SQL queries, and managing indexes to optimize database performance.
- Control-M Schedule Incident Management: Experience in managing and resolving incidents related to Control-M job scheduling.
- Communication Skills:
Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and stakeholders.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
