Job Title: SAP FICA + BRFPlus Functional Consultant (Collections Enhancements)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICA + BRFPlus Functional Consultant to support a Collections Enhancements Project within a regulated utility setting.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in SAP FICA (Contract Accounts Receivable & Payable) and BRF+, with a strong focus on optimizing dunning, collections, and payment arrangements while reducing system complexity and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure and optimize SAP FICA dunning and collections processes, including:
- Dunning intervals
- Disconnections
- Notices and correspondence
- Design, simplify, and maintain BRF+ rules for:
- Collections strategies
- Payment eligibility
- Risk segmentation
- Treatment logic
- Replace complex custom logic with standard SAP and BRF+ capabilities
- Implement and enhance payment arrangement (installment plan) rules and calculations
- Configure payment handling, adjustments, and automated write-offs
- Ensure accuracy and compliance in collections correspondence and notices
- Align FICA and BRF+ processes with digital channels and agent tools
- Support functional design, testing, deployment,



and documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve collections performance and operational efficiency

Required Experience

- 8+ years of SAP IS-U / SAP FICA functional experience
- 5+ years of hands-on BRF+ experience (dunning & collections use cases)
- Strong background in:
- Collections & disconnections
- Payment arrangements
- Correspondence management
- Experience working in utilities or regulated industries
- Proven track record of simplifying complex customizations

Required Skills

- Deep expertise in SAP FICA (FI-CA)
- Advanced knowledge of BRF+ (decision tables, rule sets, orchestration)
- Strong understanding of:
- Dunning procedures
- Collections strategies
- Disconnection processes
- Experience with:
- Installment plans & default logic
- Automated write-offs
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into scalable solutions

Nice to Have

- Experience in high-volume collections environments
- Exposure to digital channels / agent desktop integrations
- Experience with collections optimization or remediation programs
