Core Responsibilities

- **Uniform Management**: Measuring, stitching, and altering uniforms for new and existing employees to maintain professional grooming standards.
- **Linen & Upholstery Repair**: Mending bed skirting, curtains, and food & beverage linens to prolong their lifespan.
- **Guest Services**: Handling basic garment alterations and repairs (e.g., sewing buttons, fixing tears) as requested by hotel guests.
- **Inventory & Maintenance**: Keeping detailed records of daily work, maintaining sewing equipment, and monitoring supplies like thread and fabric.
- **Upcycling**: Converting discarded or damaged linens into usable items for re-circulation, such as cleaning rags or small pouches.

Key Skills and Requirements

- **Technical Proficiency**: Mastery of various sewing machines (including overlockers and hemmers) and hand-stitching techniques.
- **Fabric Knowledge**: Deep understanding of different textiles and their care requirements.
- **Organization**:



Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and keep a tidy workspace.
- **Communication**: Basic English skills are often required to understand guest requests and coordinate with the housekeeping team.
- **Physical Stamina**: Capability to stand for long periods and handle manual tasks with high precision.
