Role Description The Senior Washing Expert (Woven Wear) is a full-time, in office position based at our facility in Sangli, Maharashtra. The role involves overseeing all washing operations of woven garments, ensuring quality, consistency, and compliance with brand standards.

Responsibilities include developing washing techniques, conducting trials, supervising production processes, monitoring fabric finishes, and troubleshooting any challenges. The expert will work closely with the design and production teams to execute innovative finishes that align with client requirements while maintaining efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

nExpert-level knowledge of washing techniques for woven garments, including enzymatic wash, stone wash, acid wash, and chemical treatments.n

Experience in quality control and troubleshooting during the washing process to ensure premium outcomes.

n

Strong understanding of fabric properties and working knowledge of dyes, chemicals, and finishes used in woven wear.

n

Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, design, and quality assurance to meet project requirements.

n

Excellent planning and organizational skills to manage workflows, meet deadlines, and optimize operations.

n

Proficiency in maintaining compliance with industry standards and safety regulations in garment washing processes.

n

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in garment washing, preferably in woven wear, and a diploma or degree in Textile Technology or a related field.

n

Experience in sustainable washing techniques and environmental compliance is a plus.

n
