Role Objective

Own full-funnel organic social growth, from ideation and participation in shoot & edit discussions through to posting, optimisation, and community engagement while working closely with creative and performance teams.

Platforms Covered

- Instagram (Feed, Reels, Stories)
- YouTube (Shorts + Long-form)
- TikTokMeta (organic only)
- Kids Influencer Profile (parallel brand voice)

Core Responsibilities

Platform Strategy & Growth

- Create platform-specific strategies (not one-size-fits-all)
- Understand:

1. What works on each platform
2. Native formats, hooks, pacing, trends

- Drive growth through:

1. Consistency
2. Trend-adaptation
3. Content testing

- Know how to scale reach organically

Content Planning & Calendar

- Own monthly & weekly content calendars

1. Align content with:
2. Sales
3. Cricket season
4. Major sporting moments
5. School calendar & parents’ buying cycles

- Coordinate with Head of Creative for execution

Execution & Publishing

- Full-funnel organic social growth

1. Ideation
2. Shoot and Edit discussion
3. Posting
4. Optimisation
5. Community Engagement
6. Social Media Customer Support
7. Captions
8. Keywords
9. Thumbnails (YouTube)
10. Posting cadence

- Comfortable using editing & AI tools:

1. CapCut
2. Edits
3. AI tools

Trend Spotting & Execution

- Actively track:

1. Reel & TikTok trends
2. Audio trends
3. Format trends

- Adapt trends to Whack Sports’ brand (not copy-paste)
- Execute trends quick (speed matters)

Analytics & Optimisation

- Track performance:

1. Reach
2. Saves
3. Shares
4. Follows

- Identify what’s working and report insights




- Iterate content based on data, not gut feel alone
- Weekly reporting

Community & Automation

- Work with ManyChat automation
- Support:

1. DM flows
2. Keyword automation
3. Lead capture via social

- Basic community management understanding

Kids Influencer Profile

- Handle a separate kid-focused page:

1. Age-appropriate content
2. Parent-friendly tone
3. Safe & compliant execution

Skills & Experience

- 2-6 years managing social media end-to-end
- Deep understanding of Instagram, TikTok & YouTube
- Comfortable with short-form video editing on native or AI platforms.
- Strong content instinct + data literacy
- Knows how to work with creators & internal teams
- Organised, fast, and trend-aware
- Experience working with early-stage brands, startups, or upcoming influencers or having built and scaled a personal or brand social profile from scratch.

- Just following trends blindly
- This is a growth-focused social operator.

Role Description
