Title: Copy Editor / Proofreader

Shift time - 5 p.m. - 10 p.m. (Part-time)

About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Copy Editor / Proofreader to support the final quality review of our financial services research deliverables. This role serves as the last editorial checkpoint before publication, ensuring that research deliverables are clean, consistent, and publication-ready. The focus is on copy editing and proofreading (correcting language, formatting, and presentation issues) rather than substantive rewriting or content development. Authors and Practices are responsible for research accuracy and structure. Editorial ensures that finalized work meets companys’ standards for clarity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

· Perform final-pass copy editing and proofreading for grammar, spelling, punctuation, and consistency

· Apply and enforce the company's style guide across deliverables

· Ensure formatting consistency and clean presentation

· Check that text, charts, and tables are presented error-free

· Identify issues that affect readability or presentation and flag them for resolution

· Maintain high editorial standards while supporting deadline-driven production

Scope of the role





This position focuses on surface-level editorial quality and consistency. It does not include substantive rewriting, restructuring of research, or ownership of content development. Editorial feedback is targeted and pragmatic, designed to support efficient publication workflows.

Qualifications

· 3+ years of skilled copy editing or proofreading experience

· Exceptional command of written English and editorial best practices

· Experience editing financial, technical, or research-driven content

· Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under deadline

· Comfort working within structured editorial standards and style guides

· Clear, collaborative communication style

Nice-to-haves

· Background editing financial services or analyst research

· Familiarity with wealth management, banking, payments, insurance, or fraud/AML topics

· Experience editing PowerPoint presentations

· Knowledge of AP Style or comparable frameworks

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
