Position Overview

n

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile MYP/DP Teacher with the capability to teach across Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science disciplines. The ideal candidate will be an innovative educator with experience in interdisciplinary instruction and a strong understanding of the IB philosophy.

Key Responsibilities

n

- Design and deliver a rigorous, engaging curriculum across Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science in both MYP and DP.
- Integrate hands-on experiments, coding labs, and real-world problem-solving to build conceptual understanding.
- Prepare students for Internal Assessments, Extended Essays, and external examinations in the IB DP.
- Use differentiated instruction to meet the academic needs of diverse learners.
- Encourage inquiry-based learning and foster an interdisciplinary mindset.
- Incorporate ATL skills, TOK connections, and IB Learner Profile attributes into daily instruction.
- Conduct assessments using IB criteria and provide constructive feedback to support student growth.




- Collaborate with colleagues across departments and contribute to interdisciplinary projects and events.
- Maintain student records, communicate regularly with parents, and participate in PTMs.
- Actively engage in professional development to remain updated on IB best practices.

Candidate Requirementsn

Educational Qualifications

n
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- PGDIE / CIDTL / B.Ed. preferred.

Experience:n
- Minimum 3 years of IB MYP/DP teaching experience across any two or more of the three subjects.
- Strong understanding of IB curriculum frameworks, assessment practices, and interdisciplinary learning.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages (for Computer Science).
- Competency in experimental and conceptual delivery of Physics and Mathematics.
