Our client, a leading consulting company, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following responsibilities :

- Assess client requirements and design scalable data center infrastructure solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security architecture.
- Support planning, setup, and optimization of on-premise or hybrid data center environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Conduct capacity planning, performance analysis, and infrastructure audits to identify improvement opportunities.
- Assist in data center migration, consolidation, or modernization projects, including workload movement to cloud or hybrid platforms.
- Implement and review disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) strategies for mission-critical systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network, virtualization, and storage components are integrated efficiently.
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures for infrastructure environments.
- Provide technical advisory and troubleshooting support for complex infrastructure or operational issues.

The person must have worked with data centers in some capacity.

3. Design / Construction / Setup Experience (Key Requirement)

They should have practical involvement in setting up data centers , which could include:

- Design – planning layout, power systems, cooling systems, racks, network architecture, etc.
- Construction – involvement in building the physical facility or infrastructure.
- Setup / Commissioning – installing servers, networking equipment, power systems, testing operations, and making the data center operational.
