We are seeking to hire a senior technical operations leader to join us in our Pune office.

n

This is a hands-on leadership role. You will lead a team of highly experienced engineers who support our principal company in Canada in managing our internal, and clients’, IT environments. You will report to, and work closely with, leadership in Canada and serve as the primary technical operations resource in India.

This role is suited to a strong technical leader who can guide teams, improve operations and service levels and keep complex environments stable.

Key responsibilities

n

- Lead the India-based NOC and IT infrastructure operations teams
- Oversee operations across networking, systems, cloud, virtualization, storage and telephony
- Improve monitoring, alerts, SOPs, runbooks, reporting and change control
- Drive service quality, accountability and SLA performance
- Streamline and improve tools, techniques and methods for proactive IT management
- Mentor engineers and build technical depth across the team
- Handle major incidents, escalations and service delivery issues
- Work with internal stakeholders, clients, and vendors on business issues
- Develop and implement automation and process improvement initiatives

Requirements

nThis is an important senior position and requires the following:n




- 15+ years in IT infrastructure, NOC or related technical operations
- 5+ years leading strong IT teams
- Experience in a varied IT, data centre or managed-services setting
- Strong technical knowledge and advanced certifications in at least two of the following:
- Networking
- Systems administration – Unix, Windows
- Cloud infrastructure – public, private, hybrid
- Virtualization and storage
- Cybersecurity
- Experience handling critical incidents and client escalations
- Excellent written and spoken English and client communication skills
- Ability to work on site in Pune during North American EST hours

nEducation An engineering degree from a well-known University; relevant technical certifications relating to: Azure, AWS, private cloud, VMware, Hyper-V, enterprise networking, Unix and/or Windows Systems Administration.n

Preferred attributes

- ITIL or other relevant service-related certifications
- Experience with scripting, automation, or AI-assisted operations
