We are currently seeking a Industry Consulting Sr. Manager to join our team in Pune, Mahārāshtra (IN-MH), India (IN).

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with a strong background in banking or financial services testing to lead quality assurance initiatives as an individual contributor . The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in manual and automation testing/Performance Testing , test strategy creation, and end-to-end validation of complex financial applications such as payments, lending, core banking, or AML systems.

This role requires a proactive professional who can independently drive quality processes, ensure comprehensive test coverage, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, and product owners.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as a QA Lead and individual contributor for end-to-end testing of banking and financial applications.

- 5+ years in Performance Engineering and Performance Testing .

Proven track record in project leadership with good references.- In-depth knowledge and working experience with Performance Center, Wiley, HP Site scope and other latest Performance Engineer & Performance Testing tools (i.e. CA Lisa Virtualization) and Open Source performance testing tools ( Apache JMeter, WebLOAD etc) - Waterfall, V-model, Agile testing methodology experience.

Experience with multiple architecture, technology testing and with complex projects
- Design, develop, and execute test plans , test cases , and test scripts based on functional and technical requirements.

- Lead the test strategy, planning, and execution for multiple modules or projects.





- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing across complex banking applications.

- Conduct data validation and backend testing using SQL queries across multiple databases.

- Ensure traceability of requirements through comprehensive test coverage and defect management.

- Collaborate closely with business analysts, developers, and product owners to clarify requirements and resolve issues.

- Track and report testing progress, defects, and quality metrics to stakeholders.

- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes.

- Ensure adherence to banking compliance, security, and audit requirements during testing.

Required Skills & Experience

- 12+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA , with at least 5+ years in a senior QA role .

- Strong hands-on experience in banking or the financial domain (Retail Banking, Payments, Lending, AML, or Core Banking).

- Proficiency in manual testing and solid understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle management .

- Robust experience in SQL for backend data validation and reconciliation.

- Hands-on experience with JIRA , Confluence , and test management tools (e.g., ALM, Zephyr, qTest).





- Good understanding of API testing using Postman , Rest Assured , or similar tools.

- Ability to design test strategies, test data, and regression suites independently.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in Banking transformation , Payments modernization , or Digital channels testing .

- ISTQB or equivalent QA certification preferred.
