Our client, a leading consulting company, is looking for an independent consultant who can deliver the following responsibilities :

Assess client requirements and design scalable data center infrastructure solutions including compute, storage, networking, and security architecture.
Support planning, setup, and optimization of on-premise or hybrid data center environments to ensure high availability and performance.
Conduct capacity planning, performance analysis, and infrastructure audits to identify improvement opportunities.
Assist in data center migration, consolidation, or modernization projects, including workload movement to cloud or hybrid platforms.
Implement and review disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity (BCP) strategies for mission-critical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network, virtualization, and storage components are integrated efficiently.
Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures for infrastructure environments.
Provide technical advisory and troubleshooting support for complex infrastructure or operational issues.

Industry Background The candidate should come from a tech or infrastructure-related sector, such as:

Cloud companies
Telecom companies

Data center operators
Engineering / infrastructure firms

Data Center Experience The person must have worked with data centers in some capacity.
Design / Construction / Setup Experience (Key Requirement)

They should have practical involvement in setting up data centers, which could include:

Design – planning layout, power systems, cooling systems, racks, network architecture, etc.
Construction – involvement in building the physical facility or infrastructure.
Setup / Commissioning – installing servers, networking equipment, power systems, testing operations, and making the data center operational.
