About The Role

We are Seeking for an experienced IT Manager who will own and manage both internal IT operations and customer-facing IT infrastructure/support. This role is critical to ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable IT systems that support a 100% remote software services workforce of ~400 employees, while also delivering dependable IT services to our customers. The ideal candidate is hands-on, operationally strong, security-conscious, and comfortable working in a hybrid environment of cloud collaboration tools and on-prem virtualized Linux infrastructure.

Job Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end internal IT operations for a fully remote workforce.
- Manage Microsoft 365 (Office 365) ecosystem including:
- Azure AD / Entra ID
- Exchange Online
- Point & OneDrive
- Teams (policies, security, collaboration governance)




- Define and enforce IT policies for remote work, device usage, access control, and data security.
- Manage endpoint strategy (laptops, OS standards, patching, antivirus, encryption).
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security of internal systems.
- Act as the escalation point for complex
- Manage Linux-based on-prem infrastructure including:
- Virtualized servers (VMware / KVM / Proxmox or equivalent)
- Application hosting environments
- Backup, DR, and monitoring
- Plan and execute capacity planning, upgrades, and system hardening.
- Maintain documentation for infrastructure, SOPs, and recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors, ISPs, and hardware partners as required.
- Oversee IT services delivered to customers, including:
- Infrastructure setup and support
- Environment monitoring and stability
- Security best practices
- Work closely with delivery teams to ensure customer IT environments meet SLAs.
- Support pre-sales and solution discussions from an IT feasibility and operations perspective.
- Ensure clear handover, documentation, and operational readiness for customer environments.
- Implement and manage security controls across internal and customer systems.
- Manage identity,



access, and privilege controls (Zero Trust mindset preferred).
- Ensure data protection, backups, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Support audits, customer security questionnaires, and compliance requirements as needed.
- Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Lead and mentor internal IT support staff and system administrators.
- Manage external vendors and service providers.
- Define KPIs for IT operations and customer IT services.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement across IT processes.

Job Requirements

- Robust hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 / Azure AD
- Solid expertise in Linux server administration
- Experience managing on-prem virtualized environments
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (VPNs, firewalls, access control)
- Backup, monitoring, patch management, and DR best practices
- Exposure to IT security principles for remote and distributed teams
- 8–12 years of overall IT experience
- At least 3–5 years in an IT Manager / Lead role
- Experience supporting remote or distributed teams at scale
- Prior exposure to customer-facing IT or managed services is a strong plus
- Experience in a software services / IT services organization preferred
- Strong ownership and accountability
- Ability to balance internal priorities and customer commitments
- Clear communicator with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Calm under pressure; structured problem solver
