Buildbox is a dedicated supply partner providing high-performance construction solutions. We are seeking a technically-minded Civil Engineering Intern with a specific interest or background in Aluminum Formwork / Mivan Shuttering systems.
You won't just be sitting in an office; you will be the technical "brain" behind our product evolution.
Core Responsibilities
- Product Review & Testing: Conduct deep-dive reviews of our current site essentials and structural products. Study their performance under real-world Mivan shuttering conditions.
- R&D; & Improvement: Analyze product data and material tests to suggest improvements for better site efficiency and finish.
- Expansion Strategy: Research and suggest new product lines to expand the Buildbox "umbrella" within the formwork ecosystem.
- Technical Content: Collaborate with our Digital Lead to develop technical case studies, whitepapers,
and high-accuracy content that demonstrates our product's value to site engineers.
- Technical Support: Bring "know-how" to the table by identifying common on-site formwork challenges and how our solutions solve them.
Requirements
- Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Civil Engineering.
- Specialized Knowledge: A solid understanding of Aluminum Formwork (Mivan), shuttering cycles, and the chemistry of site essentials (shuttering oils/release agents).
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to read technical test reports and translate them into "product advantages."
- Location: Must be able to visit our Chennai office/sites as needed.
