Role Summary

The Lead Business Systems Analyst (Process Automation) is responsible for driving the adoption, delivery, support, and governance of the company s no-code and low-code application development and business process automation platforms. This role serves as the primary bridge between business teams and IT, enabling scalable automation, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring strong governance, security, and value realization across the enterprise automation portfolio. It will partner with the business to use platforms like Microsoft Power Platform as well as RPA, IDP, AI, and other automation technologies to reduce manual processes and improve business outcomes. This role combines solution design with vendor management, training, portfolio governance, and strategic planning to align the right automation technologies with the right business problems.

This role will be based in Bangalore, India, and will report to the Senior Manager of Automation Governance within our IT Enterprise Applications team.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Engagement: Partner with business stakeholders to understand business processes and identify automation opportunities. Guide them to the appropriate automation technology (e.g., Microsoft Power Platform, RPA, Copilot, low-code apps, traditional pro-code apps, etc.) to fit their use cases and requirements.

- Requirements Gathering: Elicit, analyze,



and document business requirements for workflow automation development and AI-driven automation.

- No-Code Low-Code Configuration: Conduct hands-on design and configuration of automations, workflows, and user interfaces using the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, etc.), UiPath, AI tools, as well as no-code solutions such as Smartsheet and Airtable.

- Design Development Collaboration: Design solutions that require technical development and collaborate with automation engineers, application developers, and AI engineers to translate business needs into scalable automation solutions.

- Communication Training: Lead enterprise-wide communication, maintain educational materials, conduct live training, and drive adoption of automation tools and platforms. Support and enable citizen development across the organization.

- Align with Other IT Teams: Proactively partner with other IT teams (Infrastructure, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering Enablement, and Security) to ensure the appropriate automation technologies are leveraged and aligned with business needs.

- Testing: Design and execute quality, performance, and security testing to validate that automation solutions meet business and technical requirements.

- Test Automation Testing CoE: Serve as a key team member for our IT Testing Center of Excellence (CoE), working with IT analysts to use our test automation tools to minimize repetitive, manual application testing. Train other IT teams on how to use our test management suite to track test plans and results for their projects.

- Governance: Establish, maintain, and enforce governance for automation and AI tools, including:

- Maintain an inventory of business-built applications and automations

- Track data sources, integrations,



and ownership

- Ensure applications comply with legal, security, and data policies

- Portfolio Management: Document requests for automation initiatives, expected effort, cost, and business benefits, and use this information to prioritize the automation portfolio.

- Vendor Management: Build relationships with our automation and AI platform vendors. Stay current on new product capabilities, future roadmaps, and industry trends.

- Licensing Administration: Manage licensing and user administration of automation platforms and AI tools.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

- 8+ years of experience in IT roles serving as a business systems analyst, gathering business requirements and working with technical teams to deliver systems solutions.

- 5+ years of experience in roles specifically focused on business process automation, API development, and AI tools.

- Deep hands-on experience configuring Microsoft Power Platform to deliver low-code business process automation solutions.

- Experience using AI in conjunction with process automation solutions to improve business processes.

- Experience working with technical developers to deliver business automations built on enterprise automation platforms (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, etc.).

- Strong project management skills, including the ability to define the project scope, establish a timeline, coordinate resources, communicate status, and manage the delivery of results.

- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing practices, and IT governance.

- Familiarity with enterprise application landscapes (ERP, CRM, HR, Finance systems).

- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence individuals at both technical and executive levels within IT and the business.

- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, including extensive experience meeting and presenting to senior executives.
