Contract Sportskeeda is looking for a Video Editor cum Motion Graphics Designer who can bring together strong storytelling, sharp editing, and clean motion design to create high-quality digital content and brand integrations. This role is primarily focused on video editing (50%), supported by motion graphics (40%) and design (10%). The ideal candidate should be able to take raw footage and transform it into engaging, platform-ready content, while enhancing it with motion elements that elevate storytelling without compromising clarity. You will work closely with Brand Solutions, Sales, Content, and Design teams to create high-impact videos, branded content, and campaign assets for one of India’s leading sports media platforms. Key Responsibilities

Editing (Core Focus — 50%)

Edit short and long-form video content across formats (YouTube, Instagram, platform integrations)

n

Build strong narrative flow using raw footage, ensuring:

Sharp pacing

n

Clean cuts

n

High audience retention

n

Create engaging edits aligned with contemporary digital content styles (sports, creator-led, social-first)

n

Adapt content into multiple formats (vertical, square, landscape)

n

Identify and highlight key moments, reactions,



and storytelling beats

Design and integrate motion graphics that enhance video storytelling

- Design & Static Assets (10%)

Support with basic design requirements such as:

Thumbnails

Simple campaign visuals

Ad Mockups

Assist in creating visual elements for video (frames, layouts, UI mockups)

Maintain consistency in typography, colour, and visual identity

Additional Responsibilities

n

Collaborate with Brand Solutions & Sales team on branded content and campaign executions

n

Build video + motion mockups to visualise campaign ideas for clients

n

Ensure all outputs are optimised for platform specs and performance

n

Work on fast turnaround timelines while maintaining quality Requirements

n

Strong proficiency in

Adobe Premiere Pro (primary editing tool)

n

Adobe After Effects (motion graphics) Working knowledge of:

Photoshop / Illustrator (or equivalent tools)

Strong understanding of
