Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to manage and oversee the hospital’s financial operations. The candidate will be responsible for financial reporting, compliance, and supervising day-to-day accounting activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily accounting operations and general ledger management
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle hospital revenue accounting, billing reconciliation, and receivables tracking
Ensure timely closure of books and accurate financial reporting
Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring
Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory requirements
Coordinate and support internal and external audits
Monitor expenses, budgets, and cost control measures
Supervise and guide junior accounts staff
Maintain proper documentation as per audit and hospital standards
Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce (B.Com / M.Com)
5+ years of accounting experience (hospital/healthcare preferred)
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
Proficiency in Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software
Good understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
Leadership and team management ability
Preferred:
Experience in hospital or healthcare industry
Knowledge of NABH-related financial documentation and audit readiness
