Program Overview

Chevron ENGINE is pleased to announce its annual Apprenticeship Program for undergraduate students. The program is designed to bridge academic learning with hands-on industry exposure, enabling students to build practical skills, gain professional experience, and develop future ready capabilities.

Project-based learning aligned to real business needs Job Description The Facilities Engineer – Mechanical will support Projects & Engineering (DEP) by developing Excel-based calculation tools for pipe support design and industry guideline compliance related to vibration analysis.

Key Responsibilities Create Excel templates to perform complex calculations for pipe support design Develop Excel-based calculators aligned with industry guidelines for: Acoustic Induced Vibration (AIV) Pulsation Induced Vibration (PIV) Incorporate all relevant design formulas, assumptions, and checks into Excel tools Support efficiency and consistency in mechanical design and analysis activities Validate calculation logic and document methodologies used in the templates Key Deliverables A standardized Excel calculator covering pipe support and vibration-related calculations Well-documented templates to improve productivity during mechanical design reviews Eligibility Criteria Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum CGPA of 7 Preference will be given to students currently in their second year and progressing into the third year of study. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in technology, innovation, and engineering problem solving through coursework, projects, or extracurricular activities Application Requirements Curriculum Vitae / Resume: A current CV outlining academic background, technical skills, relevant projects, and experiences.
