Job Description: Operations Manager

Location: Baner, Pune, India
Department: Operations

Working Hours: 6.30 pm to 3.30 am IST

About the Role:
We are looking for an Operations Manager to lead and streamline our India office operations. While manufacturing is based in the United States, this role will act as a critical bridge between the Pune team and the US production team.
The ideal candidate will have strong people management capabilities along with an engineering background and a working understanding of production processes, enabling them to train and guide the team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

1. People Management & Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and manage the India-based team
- Train employees on daily workflows, tools, and processes
- Monitor team productivity and performance
- Build a structured, accountable, and positive work culture

2. Operations Management
- Oversee daily operations of the Pune office
- Coordinate with US-based manufacturing teams for workflow alignment
- Ensure timely execution of tasks and project deliverables
- Drive process improvements and operational efficiency

3. Process Understanding & Training
- Develop a strong understanding of signage production workflows
- Convert processes into clear SOPs for the India team




- Conduct training sessions and ensure knowledge transfer

4. Vendor Management
- Identify and manage vendors for operational and office needs
- Negotiate pricing and ensure cost optimization
- Maintain vendor performance and relationships

5. Facility Management
- Manage office infrastructure, maintenance, and administration
- Ensure smooth functioning of utilities, equipment, and workspace
- Oversee housekeeping, security, and overall facility upkeep

Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Production / Industrial preferred)
- 8-10 years of experience in operations and team management
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Good understanding of production/manufacturing processes
- Excellent communication skills (English mandatory)
- Ability to work with and coordinate across international teams
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in signage, manufacturing, or related industry
- Exposure to cross-functional team management
- Experience in vendor and facility management
