Graphics Designer - Social Media

Role Summary

At One World One Family Mission, we use design as a powerful medium to communicate purpose and inspire connection. We are looking for a Social Media Graphics Designer who can create visually engaging, meaningful, and platform-optimized content that reflects our mission and strengthens our digital presence.

Key Responsibilities

- Creative Design Execution
- Design high-quality social media creatives, infographics, and visual assets that are engaging, clear, and aligned with communication goals.
- Template & Layout Design
- Develop and adapt templates for consistent and scalable content across platforms.
- Brand Consistency
- Ensure all designs adhere to the organisation’s brand identity, tone, and visual guidelines.
- Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work closely with content, media, and communications teams to understand briefs and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Platform Understanding
- Apply knowledge of various social media platforms, formats, sizes, and best practices to optimise designs for performance.
- Tools & Execution
- Use Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva efficiently to deliver polished, high-quality outputs.
- Stay Updated
- Keep up with design trends, social media aesthetics, and new formats to continuously improve creative output.
- Timely Delivery
- Manage multiple tasks and deliver projects within deadlines while maintaining quality.





What We’re Looking For

- Strong portfolio showcasing social media creatives, infographics, and digital design work
- 4–5 years of relevant design experience
- Positive understanding of layout, typography, color, and visual hierarchy
- Familiarity with social media design standards and formats
- Attention to detail and ability to follow brand guidelines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects for digital media.
- Familiarity with the organisation's mission, values, and target audience is preferred.
- Knowledge of web design, motion graphics, or video editing software is an added advantage.

Nice to Have

- Experience working in a mission-driven or content-heavy environment
- Basic understanding of branding systems and template creation
- Exposure to motion graphics or simple animations
