Role Description

NextKid™ is seeking a full time, in office Sound Engineer to join our team in Chandigarh.

n

The Sound

n

Engineer will be responsible for recording, editing, mixing, and mastering audio for various multimedia projects, including child-centric experiences, educational content, and product sound design. Daily tasks will include setting up and operating audio equipment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop high-quality sound experiences,



and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. The individual will also troubleshoot technical issues and continuously innovate to deliver engaging audio solutions.

Qualifications

n

Experience in sound recording, audio editing, and mixing using industry-standard software and tools

n

Knowledge of acoustics, sound design, and audio engineering best practices

n

Robust troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage technical equipment

n

Ability to work closely with creative teams to ensure alignment with project goals

n

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills

n

Degree or certification in Audio Engineering, Sound Design, Music Technology, or a related field is preferred

n

Previous experience in child-focused environments or educational content development is a plus

n

Passion for innovation and creating impactful experiences for children
