Role Overview:
The Business Head - Electricals will spearhead the growth and profitability of the Electricals division at Josts Engineering Company Pvt Ltd. This leadership role involves developing and executing strategic plans, driving sales and business development initiatives, managing channel partners, and leading a high-performing team. The Business Head will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with overall company objectives and deliver exceptional value to customers. This role is based in either Bangalore or Mumbai.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic business plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share within the Electricals division.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including new markets, products, and partnerships, to drive revenue growth.
- Manage and expand the channel partner network to enhance market reach and customer service capabilities.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and business development team to achieve individual and team goals.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and generate leads.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Manage the P&L; for the Electricals division, ensuring profitability and efficient resource allocation.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of projects and initiatives.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful business strategies, driving revenue growth and market share expansion.
- Proven expertise in sales and business development within the electricals industry, with a strong understanding of market dynamics and customer needs.
- Exceptional channel management skills, with a track record of building and managing effective partner networks.
- Strong team leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment and travel as required.
- 10-17 years of relevant experience.
