Role Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and technology-driven professional to join our Market Intelligence team as a Technology Analyst – Renewables .

This role focuses on translating renewable energy technology developments—across solar PV and energy storage—into actionable market intelligence. The analyst will connect engineering advancements with cost trends, procurement strategies, pricing dynamics, investment risks, and bankability considerations.

You will support developers, EPCs, investors, lenders, and procurement teams with structured insights that drive informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology Intelligence

- Monitor global technology trends in:
- Solar modules, cells, wafers
- Inverters
- Battery storage systems
- Emerging renewable innovations

- Translate technical advancements into commercial and market implications.
- Identify performance limitations, degradation factors, and failure modes.
- Distinguish real innovation from marketing claims.

2. Research & Benchmarking

- Conduct structured research on:
- Technology performance and reliability
- Cost-performance trade-offs
- Innovation roadmaps

- Develop comparative benchmarks of products and suppliers.
- Assess technical risks and bankability implications.

3. Market Intelligence & Reporting

- Draft high-quality:
- Technology reports
- Market intelligence publications
- Briefings and thought leadership content

- Support recurring intelligence publications with technical commentary.
- Present findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

4. Client & Business Support





- Provide expert technical input in advisory engagements.
- Respond to client queries on technology trends and performance expectations.
- Support pre-sales teams in feasibility and solution development.
- Conduct webinars, training sessions, and industry presentations.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and events.

5. Data & Knowledge Management

- Maintain structured technology datasets.
- Ensure transparency and accuracy in assumptions.
- Improve internal workflows and analytical methodologies.

6. Execution & Service Quality

- Deliver technology analysis and publish market reports.
- Track project progress and maintain activity logs.
- Ensure high-quality, timely delivery aligned with industry standards.
- Uphold strict confidentiality and professional integrity.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
- Certifications in Financial Analysis preferred.

Experience

- Minimum 5 years in renewable energy analysis, market intelligence, or similar role.

Technical Competencies

- Solid understanding of:
- Solar PV technologies
- Battery storage systems
- Performance metrics & degradation mechanisms

- Ability to link engineering realities with:

- Procurement decisions
- Cost dynamics
- Investment risk

- Experience in benchmarking and market adoption analysis.
- Advanced proficiency in:

- MS Excel
- Power BI
- MS Office Suite
- Collaboration tools (Microsoft Teams)

Communication Skills

- Excellent written and verbal communication (English – C1 level or above).
- Strong storytelling ability in market-facing reports.
- Confident presenter for webinars and client briefings.
