About Sowaka Health
Sowaka Health enables compliant access to unapproved and hard-to-access medicines across India and emerging markets. We work at the intersection of global pharma, hospitals, and regulators to deliver structured, audit-ready access programs. Our focus is precision, compliance, and execution at scale.
Role Overview
You will own the intake layer of our access programs. This is where every patient case begins.
You will act as the first structured point of contact for all incoming requests and ensure each case is accurately captured, documented, and prepared for internal review.
This role is execution-heavy and process-driven. You will not make medical or regulatory decisions. You will ensure that every case entering the system is complete, structured, and audit-ready.
What You Will Do
1. Intake & Case Structuring
- Manage incoming requests across email, portal, WhatsApp Business, and partner referrals
- Create structured case records in the case management system
- Capture patient, physician, hospital, and therapy details using defined templates
- Classify cases based on urgency and program type
- Maintain accurate case status and stage tracking
2. Documentation & Validation
- Validate completeness of intake documentation against checklists
- Identify gaps and follow up with hospitals and partners
- Maintain clean, audit-ready documentation with version control
- Ensure internal consistency across all case data
3. Coordination & Escalation
- Prepare complete intake packs for clinical, regulatory,
or commercial review
- Escalate non-standard or urgent cases as per defined protocols
- Track review outcomes and update case progression
- Support exception handling with proper documentation
4. Stakeholder Communication
- Act as a reliable point of contact for hospitals and partners during intake
- Provide structured updates within defined communication boundaries
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth case handoffs
What You Bring
Required
- 3–5 years in healthcare operations, patient onboarding, or case management
- Experience working with hospitals, clinics, or physician offices
- Hands-on experience managing patient documentation and intake workflows
- Robust attention to detail and comfort with structured processes
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Fluency in at least one Indian language for hospital coordination
Preferred
- Exposure to Named Patient Programs, Early Access Programs, or PSPs
- Experience in oncology, rare disease, or specialty care settings
- Familiarity with CRMs or digital case management systems
- Experience handling sensitive patient data with confidentiality
How You Will Be Measured
- Accuracy of case creation and data quality
- Completeness and timeliness of documentation
- Turnaround time from request to case readiness
- Case hygiene and system discipline
- Quality of escalation and issue handling
- Audit readiness of all intake records
- Responsiveness to hospitals and internal teams
