- Follow up with customers via phone, email, or visits for payment of outstanding invoices.
- Ensure timely collection of receivables as per agreed credit terms.
- Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, payments, and disputes.
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve billing or payment discrepancies.
- Coordinate with sales and finance teams regarding overdue accounts.
- Prepare daily/weekly collection reports and aging analysis.
- Escalate chronic or high-risk delinquent accounts to seniors or management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal guidelines during collections.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Solid communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to handle objections and difficult conversations professionally.
- Basic knowledge of accounting and receivables management.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Customer-focused approach with attention to detail.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in collections, accounts receivable, or credit control.
- Experience in B2B/B2C collections is an advantage.
Salary: ₹21,000.00 - ₹23,000.00 per month based on experience in relevant field
