At Priyangaa Silks, we carry more than sarees — we carry a legacy.

We are a fourth-generation, national award-winning family of Kanjivaram handloom weavers. We specialise exclusively in pure Kanjivaram silk sarees, sold through our Chennai studio and daily Facebook Live sessions loved by silk enthusiasts across India. Every saree is Silk Mark certified, handwoven, and one of a kind.

We are looking for a warm, detail-oriented person to join our small, passionate team.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

────────────────────

→ Welcome walk-in customers warmly and guide them through our collection

→ Handle customer DMs, WhatsApp inquiries, and post-purchase follow-ups

→ Assist during Facebook and Instagram live sessions — setup and saree management

→ Support video calls with online customers

→ Manage day-to-day social media content posting

→ Conduct quality checks on sarees when they arrive and before dispatch

→ Pack orders carefully so every saree leaves in perfect condition

→ Fold and store sarees with care after every customer interaction

→ Keep the studio and counters clean, organised, and display-ready at all times

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

→ A genuine love for textiles, sarees, and the craft behind them

→ Fluent in Tamil;
basic English is a plus

→ Comfortable on camera and during live social media sessions

→ Sharp attention to detail — in fabric quality, folding, and packaging

→ Prior experience in retail or textiles preferred (not mandatory)

→ Punctual, trustworthy, and takes pride in a well-kept workspace
