Role: Expert Cyber Security Analyst

Job Description:

We seek a dedicated Expert Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance the security of web, mobile, and standalone applications and systems, ensuring their robustness against cyber threats. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, cloud, and product teams to safeguard their applications, as well as supporting application teams in their Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) endeavours.

What do you get to do in this position

- Deploy Schneider’s SDL (Secure Development Lifecycle)
- Implement DRP for multiple applications in cloud, on premise and third party driven applications.
- Make sure to support tech teams and Application teams for Cyber Digital Certification of applications.
- Act as an expert facilitator on practices such as secure design, threat modeling, and vulnerability management
- Act as a point of contact for cybersecurity issues for a portfolio of offers
- Support Application owners in specifying security requirements and bring expert knowledge of relevant CS standards and regulations
- Identify and communicate cybersecurity risks
- Support product teams with security best practices for design, automation, and tool selection
- Evaluate threats and vulnerabilities on Applications, Tech Components and Infra components
- Lead and coordinate cybersecurity-related initiates within the line of business
- Bring new approaches that make us more efficient and effective
- Engage with Cross functional teams if required to implement new security controls.

Qualifications

- Degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or equivalent experience with overall IT experience more than 10 yrs and CyberSecurity Experience more than 8 yrs.
- Experience deploying secure development lifecycle practices to Digital Applications
- Experience in managing / understanding on Cloud applications CI / CD , GitHub cloud and GitHub Enterprise solutions.
- Better to have understanding on AWS / Azure native solutions.
- Familiarity with data privacy concerns I:E Web security, Data security and PI security.
- Familiar with Zero Trust architecture, Threat Modelling.
- Demonstrated competence in vulnerability management and risk-based decision making
- Proficiency at communicating appropriately to different groups including customers and business stakeholders
- Technical background to understand Cloud architecture, AI, ecommerce platforms and customer-based applications.
