Job Title (Job Code): GFC FP&A; Analyst (FI-GF07)
PURPOSE OF THE JOB
The GFC FP&A; Analyst will be responsible for overseeing the financial performance of the Country/Site and ensure the continuous improvement of financial processes. He or She:
- Assist Country Finance Director /Site Controller tracking expenses, analyzing cost variances, and preparing detailed financial reports to provide insights into budget performance.
- Work closely with Project managers, Operations finance and other stakeholders to establish budgetary guidelines, forecast costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Collaborate with other departments (accounting, audit, procurement) to support overall business objectives.
- Manage audits and ensure adherence to financial policies and procedures.
- Identify and streamline our reporting processes, and much more

MAIN RESPONSABILITIES
This list of responsibilities is not comprehensive and may be amended at any time by manager/supervisor
Key accountabilities:
- Provide reliable, accurate and timely reporting data for both Site and HQ team
- Verification of the actuals – All the lines in the P&L; for a site (GM Adj on back log / UO / Other Non-operating expenses / Incomes etc) must be validated and signed off for the month before workday 5.
- Variance analysis of Site KPIs (Sales, Cash, Working capital, Overdue, Backlog etc.) and all accruals must be tracked monthly
- Under/Over recovery budget/forecast vs actual analysis for the site
- Participate in the preparation of the Monthly Business Review. Site review meetings with Cluster/Region, critical Finance Project Review and Tender Review.
- Review data (cash, sales, GM, under/over) for Teranga pack submission and correction of errors. Month-end closing provisions calculation. Invoicing various intercompany. Participate in SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning) meeting.
- Direct / Indirect Cash reconciliation. Weekly Cash forecast for the site to be updated in Polaris for the next six weeks.
- Work closely with the internal teams like treasury and AP teams to deliver a smooth cash landing without any major surprises. Estimate the half year and full year cash landing for the site accurately.
- Hedge exposure calculation and related booking entries. P&L; FX impact analysis including spot effect.
- Collect, consolidate, analyze and validate financial data to produce the actual budget and forecasts. Including – Orders analysis, Site production planning, Production Overhead (POH), Non-Production Overhead (NPOH), Project Gross Margin (GM), Sales, Cash and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare and maintain the consolidation files and the excel templates for Forecast 1 & 2- and Three-year Plan (TYP).
Update site relevant details in the tool like Polaris and Teranga.
- Track the Site overheads vs the budget for all the cost centres. Maintain the Site SOH file for Actuals / Forecast / Three-year Plan.
- Ensure that the site's financial structure, processes and systems, comply with all internal and external requirements.
- Forex analysis, hedging and spot effect impact in P&L.; Hedge exposure declaration for the site.
- Tracking and closing of relevant Internal Control Audit and External Audit issues for the site.
- Key User activities. Provide support to users.
MAIN REQUIRED COMPETENCES
Educational Requirements
Mandatory:
- Master’s degree in Finance or equivalent (CA / CMA)
- CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA in Finance with higher relevant experience
Desirable:

Mandatory:
- 2-5 years of experience in FP&A; / Corporate finance
- Strong analytical skills
- Fluent in English
Desirable:
- Experience in long term project accounting is a plus
