Role Description We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong expertise in Node.js and Python, who can architect and scale systems capable of handling millions of requests and high concurrency workloads.

The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining backend systems and APIs to support scalable mobile applications.

n

You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, Dev Ops, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization.

n

Responsibilities also include improving system architecture, ensuring data security, and implementing innovative features to enhance user experience.

You will work alongside our existing Ruby on Rails stack and help evolve our backend into a distributed, scalable, and resilient system.

Key Responsibilities Design and build high-performance backend systems using Node.js and Python Architect services to handle millions of API requests per day with low latency Develop and maintain microservices and event-driven architectures Optimize systems for scalability, fault tolerance,



and high availability Integrate with existing Ruby on Rails services and modernize where needed Work closely with Flutter mobile teams for seamless API delivery Implement caching, queuing, and load balancing strategies Ensure observability via logging, monitoring, and alerting systems Technical Requirements (Must Have) • 7–10 years of backend development experience • Strong expertise in:

- Node.js (Express / Nest JS) • Python (Fast API / Django / Flask) • Proven experience building systems that handle:
- High concurrency (10 K+ requests/sec) • Horizontal scaling across distributed systems • Deep understanding of:
- REST APIs & API gateway patterns • Microservices & service-oriented architecture • Asynchronous processing (queues, workers) Infrastructure & Scalability Expertise • Strong hands-on experience with AWS ecosystem, including:
- EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway • Load Balancers (ALB/NLB) • Experience with:
- Caching layers (Redis / Memcached) • Message queues (Kafka, Rabbit MQ, SQS) • Database scaling (sharding, indexing, read replicas) • Understanding of CDN, rate limiting, and distributed caching strategies • Ability to design systems for:
