Job Summary

nWe are looking for a highly skilled and experienced SAP CO Lead Consultant with deep expertise in Product Costing, Actual Costing, Margin Analysis, and Material Ledger within S/4HANA. The role requires processes and configuration efforts, driving value through accurate costing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders and team members. Prior experience working with automotive clients is highly preferred.n

Roles & Responsibilities

n

- Lead the end-to-end design and configuration of SAP CO solutions in S/4HANA.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Product Costing, Actual Costing, and Margin Analysis.
- Own the configuration and operation of the Material Ledger.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specs.
- Manage and guide a team of consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Conduct workshops, design reviews,



and solution walkthroughs with client teams.
- Ensure seamless integration of CO processes with MM, PP, and FI.

nProfessional & Technical Skillsn

- Deep functional knowledge of SAP CO submodules: Product Costing, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, and COPA.
- Proven expertise in Material Ledger configuration (period-end closing, multi-currency setup, actual costing runs).
- Experience in Margin Analysis setup with profitability characteristics and reporting.
- Strong knowledge of cost flows from procurement to production and sales.
- Comfortable working with Fiori apps, CDS views, and S/4HANA embedded analytics.
- Hands-on experience with cross-functional integration (MM, PP, FI, SD).

- Preferred industry: Automotive
- Location: Gurgaon, Bangaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai. (Hybrid work model)
- Education: Master’s in finance, Chartered Accountant, similar qualifications
- Travel: May be required depending on client location
- Project methodology: Experience with SAP Activate or Agile is an advantage
- Certifications: S/4HANA CO or Finance certification preferred
- Language skills: Strong communication skills in English; additional languages a plus
