We are hiring a qualified and motivated Special Educator to join our team in Dehradun. This is a hybrid role combining work from home with regular field engagement across schools and communities in and around Dehradun.
Role Overview
The selected candidate will work closely with children with special needs (CWSN), educators, and parents to deliver structured interventions. The role involves developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), conducting assessments, and ensuring effective on-ground implementation through regular school visits and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess students’ learning needs and functional abilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learners
- Conduct regular school visits across Dehradun and nearby areas
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
- Provide guidance to educators and parents for consistent support
- Support behavioural interventions and recommend strategies where required
- Conduct training sessions and workshops (online and in-person)
- Use digital platforms for reporting, tracking, and coordination
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Special Education (RCI preferred)
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in special education
- Strong understanding of IEPs, assessments, and intervention strategies
- Experience working with children with diverse disabilities (LD, ASD, ADHD, ID, etc.)
- Familiarity with tools like PRASHAST is an added advantage
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Comfortable working in a hybrid setup (remote + field)
Willingness to travel rigorously across Dehradun and nearby regions
- Must own a two-wheeler (preferred)
- Must have a laptop and stable internet connectivity
- Currently based in Dehradun
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month
