In this role as a Data OPS Associate in the Product Maintenance team, you will be responsible for handling products and customers data for both books and journals. You will work as an integral leader of the Customer Support and Order to Cash department, ensuring outstanding customer experience for internal and external customers. Your internal stakeholders will involve Suppliers, Journal Managers, Publishers, Distribution Controllers, Logistics, and Books Order Fulfillment team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Maintain product and customer accounts for books and journals in relevant systems such as Delta, Oracle, and OSvC.
- Process all assigned activities orders/agreements/emails within the agreed Turnaround Time & quality.
- Respond professionally to customer queries by phone and e-mail using the Best Practice guidelines.
- Adhere to Business/Process requirements as per SOP/Training Module.
- Complete RCA (Root Cause Analysis) for any escalations received for the team with appropriate CAPAs (Corrective Action & Preventive Action).
- Support or lead small scale process improvements.
- Adhere to the Quality Auditing process whenever required for the team.
**Qualifications Required:**
- Good experience in customer service or customer-facing role, working with stakeholders, maintaining relations, and managing expectations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, resolving problems using existing solutions.
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office with proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new systems.
- Basic understanding of MDM (Master Data Management) and of Customer Service and Order to Cash processes.
- Education at least at bachelors level.
- 2+ years experience in a similar role/relevant experience (Mandatory).
- Experience in writing, editing, and reviewing texts.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
