Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Academic Counselor role based in Palghat. The Academic Counselor will provide guidance and support to students in selecting appropriate programs, ensuring alignment with their career aspirations. Daily tasks include student counseling, delivering academic advising sessions, and offering career counseling to help students achieve their educational and professional goals. The role also involves effective communication with students to address their concerns and provide them with tailored advice suited to their ambitions and needs.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support students in achieving their academic and skilled objectives.
- Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with students and address their concerns in a professional manner.
- Experience in Academic Advising and familiarity with Education systems to provide tailored guidance and program recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage and assist a diverse group of students efficiently.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in educational counseling and knowledge of IT-related courses would be an advantage.
