Cradle Child Care is seeking a compassionate, qualified, and reliable Staff Nurse to provide medical care and supervision for children in our care facility. The Staff Nurse will be responsible for monitoring children’s health, responding to emergencies, administering medications, and ensuring a safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment.
Roles & ResponsibilitiesClinical Care
- Monitor the health status of all children during day and night hours.
- Administer prescribed medications as per schedule and physician instructions.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies or health concerns.
- Perform basic nursing duties such as checking vital signs, wound care, and feeding support as required.
- Maintain accurate medical records and update documentation for each child.
Child Safety & Supervision
- Ensure children are safe, comfortable, and well-rested, especially during night hours.
- Conduct regular room and safety checks to maintain a secure and calm workplace.
- Observe and report any unusual behavior or signs of illness to the appropriate staff or parents.
- Follow all health, hygiene, and safety protocols strictly.
Communication & Reporting
- Provide detailed handover reports to the next shift staff.
- Communicate with parents when necessary regarding health or overnight concerns.
- Coordinate with childcare staff and management to ensure consistent and quality care.
Facility & Hygiene
- Maintain cleanliness and proper sterilization of medical equipment and nursing areas.
- Ensure sleeping areas and bedding are clean and hygienic.
- Assist with light housekeeping or laundry related to child care, if required.
Requirements
- Diploma, B.Sc Nursing, Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
- Valid nursing license.
- CPR and First Aid certification (Pediatric preferred).
- Previous experience in pediatric, childcare, or similar settings is an advantage.
- Willingness to work day shifts, night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong patience, empathy, responsibility, and attention to detail.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
