Responsibilities:

- Adherence to Production planning and Scheduling - Issue Instruction to Shift Incharge for executing, Co-ordinate with stores dept for R.M / PM and despatch for Repacking / Relabelling activity.
- After shut down and Startup - Work permit closure status and Maintenance Completion/cleaning/ Pre test/vacuum test.
- Batch Monitoring and Data analysis - In case of OK batches, get periodic data only; in case of problems, get the batch data, identify root cause, coordinate with concerned teams for corrections, escalate to Unit Head, till solutioning.
- Validation of time cycle - Monitor 3 / 4 batches with the same batch size, reactor, set up.
- Product Non Conformance Management - Check the NCR given by QC. Speak with shift incharge, Check the batch data, do root cause analysis, discuss with Unit head & Team, prepare Corrective action, Update NCR module.
- Work permits issuance - Check the permit. Go and see the work place. Instruct Shift incharge for controls and resources. Authorize the Permit.
- New product batch card preparation - Review operational safety, Suggest alternatives, prepare MOC for changes, Implement the changes.
- Data Management and MIS Reports, BSC slides for MRM & SRM - Compile production related data, Tabulate the data, cross verify with Shift Incharges, ERP systems, confirm data correctness.



Provide details to management.
- Production / Consumption data - Tabulate from ERP, cross verify vs ERP.
- RM / Intermediate stock Consumption reconciliation - Allot areas for stock checking, Provide resources, Supervise, Compile stocks in WIP, Periodical Physical R.M stock verification.
- IMS Compliance - Review the audit finding. Initiate compliance as per finding. Review with the Production team. Provide CAPA to auditor. Issue the new / revised system for implementation.
- Incident Investigation - Review the incident, do root cause analysis with the team, Inputs for CAPA.
- Improvement - 1)Take plant rounds in accordance with 5S and safety requirements 2) Tabulate points 3) Allocate resources.
- HSE compliance - Participate in the GRA. Review of activities list / Identify Operational controls / suggest Modifications.
- Participation in GRA / Hazop - Participate in the GRA / JSA. Review of activities list / Operational controls / suggest changes / additional controls.
- Appraisal - Discuss and review with each reportee on their performance, provide rating, rationalize, submit the form to Site Head / VP operations.
- Quality of products - Provide training on Product SOP, Monitor the stage-wise Analysis and do failure root cause analysis and implement the CAPA.
- Cost of production / Cost Reduction - Create MOC for changes, Provide training,



Implement changes and monitor the improvement.
- Productivity Improvements - Review the current Operation /Batch size / Hardware and identify measures to optimize the production rate.
- To implement corrective/preventive measure to ensure the maximum uptime/output for the Plant and to ensure minimum production breakages / wastage and downtime.
- Interact with workmen on a regular basis and ensure statutory compliance with respect to licenses and standards etc.
- Ensure that the working environment, production process and products meet with standard quality requirements and positive manufacturing practices.
- Ensure and ensure total adherence to proper safety measure/procedures (ISO/OSHA) at all times in the Plant and during production.
- Train and develop subordinates to enhance teamwork, multi-skilling, and improve overall productivity/quality/safety/technical knowledge.
- Responsible for people management including career growth of the employee working with him.

Required Skills:

- Knowledge of reactor capabilities, process parameters, failure & data analysis system, ISO/OSHA safety norms.
