results to our customers and our employees We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced QA Engineer to lead our quality assurance efforts and manage a growing team of testers This role combines hands-on testing expertise with leadership responsibilities ensuring our software products meet the highest standards of reliability performance and user experience You will work 3 days in the office and 2 days from home Key Responsibilities Team Leadership Management Lead mentor and develop a team of QA engineers fostering a culture of ownership collaboration and continuous improvement Allocate tasks set priorities and ensure timely delivery of testing milestones across multiple projects Conduct regular performance reviews provide coaching and support career development for team members Champion best practices in QA and drive process improvements across the team Quality Assurance Strategy Define and implement QA strategies test plans and standards aligned with product goals and timelines Collaborate with cross-functional teams Product Development DevOps to ensure quality is embedded throughout the development lifecycle Own the defect management process ensuring timely identification reporting and resolution of issues Test Design Execution Design develop and execute manual and automated test cases for functional regression performance and security testing Maintain and enhance automated test frameworks and tools Analyse test results identify root causes and recommend corrective actions Metrics Reporting Track and report key QA metrics such as defect density test coverage and release readiness Present quality status and risk assessments to stakeholders and leadership Qualifications Proven experience in software QA with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes Hands-on experience with automated testing tools e g Selenium JUnit TestNG Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving
