​Role Overview

​We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Speech-Language Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary rehabilitation team. This role is specifically designed for a professional looking to specialize in neuro-rehabilitation, working alongside physiotherapists and occupational therapists to restore communication and swallowing functions in patients recovering from stroke, traumatic brain injury, and other neurological conditions.

​Key Responsibilities

- ​Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing (dysphagia) disorders in neuro-rehab patients.
- ​Therapy Planning: Develop and implement evidence-based, goal-oriented treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
- ​Neurological Focus: Specialize in treating motor speech disorders (Apraxia/Dysarthria) and Aphasia resulting from neurological impairment.
- ​Dysphagia Management:



Provide bedside swallowing assessments and implement compensatory strategies or exercises.
- ​Collaboration: Work closely with the physiotherapy team to integrate cognitive and communicative goals into the patient’s physical recovery journey.
- ​Documentation: Maintain detailed progress reports and communicate recovery milestones to families and caregivers.

​Requirements & Qualifications

- ​Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (BASLP / MASLP).
- ​Experience: 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience (Internship experience in a neuro-setting will be considered).
- ​Registration: Valid registration with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- ​Skills: * Strong understanding of neuroanatomy and its impact on communication.
- ​Proficiency in Malayalam and English (to effectively communicate with local patients and document clinical findings).
- ​Compassionate bedside manner and patience for long-term rehabilitation processes.

Job Types: Full time, Part-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
