We are looking for a proactive HR Officer / HR Assistant to manage day-to-day HR operations at our site location in Jamnagar. The role includes handling recruitment, attendance, compliance, employee relations, and coordinating closely with the Head Office to ensure smooth HR functioning.
Key Responsibilities
1. HR Operations & Administration
Manage day-to-day HR operations at site
Handle employee lifecycle: onboarding, attendance, leave, and exit formalities
Maintain employee records and HR documentation
Coordinate with Head Office (HO) daily for updates
2. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
Support site-level hiring as per manpower requirements
Coordinate with HO for bulk and critical hiring
Assist in onboarding and induction of employees
3. Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with labour laws (PF, ESIC, CLRA, Factory Act, etc.)
Assist in handling inspections and liaising with authorities
Maintain registers, licenses, and compliance records

Payroll & Compensation
Provide payroll inputs, including attendance and overtime
Support salary processing and statutory deductions
5. Employee Relations & Engagement
Address employee queries and grievances
Support engagement activities and maintain discipline
Assist in handling labour-related matters
6. Contractor & Labour Management
Support management of contract labour and vendor compliance
Monitor contractor documentation and statutory adherence
- 2–4 years of HR experience (site-based preferred)
- Knowledge of labour laws and statutory compliance
- Experience in contract labour handling
- Positive communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work independently at site
