Key Responsibilities:
Lead the complete NPD lifecycle for makeup and color cosmetics from concept
to commercialization
Drive product innovation based on market trends, competitor analysis, and
consumer insights
Currently handling and owning makeup NPD projects, ensuring timely execution
and delivery
Work closely with R&D;, formulation labs, packaging teams, and external vendors
for product development
Manage sourcing of raw materials, pigments, packaging, and innovative
components specific to color cosmetics
Oversee formulation trials, shade development, texture validation, stability
testing, and product approvals
Collaborate with marketing and brand teams for product positioning, claims, and
go-to-market strategies
Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and quality standards for cosmetic
products
Monitor project timelines, costing, and margins to ensure commercial viability
Lead cross-functional coordination with procurement, supply chain, and
operations teams
Analyze post-launch performance and drive continuous product improvements
Key Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Cosmetics, Chemistry, or related field
3-6 years of experience in NPD/Product Development in makeup and color
cosmetics
Strong hands-on experience in currently handling makeup NPD (mandatory)
In-depth knowledge of formulation, pigments, textures, and packaging in color
cosmetics
Experience working with vendors, labs, and third-party manufacturers
(domestic/international preferred)
Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced D2C/startup environment
Preferred Skills:
Experience in D2C beauty or personal care brands
Robust understanding of beauty trends, shade ranges, and consumer
preferences
Exposure to international sourcing (China/Korea/Europe) for cosmetic products
High ownership, problem-solving mindset, and execution focus
