Desired candidate profile for the position:

Qualification BE/B.Tech (Electrical Engineering)
Previous Experience - 8 to 10Years
Key Deliverables of this role

n

*). Lead a team of engineers for electrical design and development

n

*). Review and approve design calculations, drawings and BOMs

n

*). Ensure compliance with customer specifications, IS/IEC standards and internal guidelines

n

*). Drive optimization of design for cost, performance and manufacturability

n

*). Coordinate with Mechanical Design, Production, Quality, and Testing teams

n

*). Support tendering and technical discussions with customers

n

*). Handle design deviations, failure analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives

n

*). Ensure proper documentation, standardization, and design control systems

n

*). Robust expertise in transformer electrical design (losses, impedance, insulation coordination, thermal aspects)

n

*). Leadership and team management skills

n

*). Analytical and problem-solving ability

n

*).



Strong understanding of customer specifications and industry standards (IS/IEC)

n

*). Effective cross-functional coordination and communication

n

*). Timely and accurate release of design outputs

n

*). Reduction in design errors and rework

n

*). Cost optimization and design efficiency improvements

Must have functional competencies

Experience of Electrical Design of Power Transformers – 132kV class up to 400kV class
