Job Overview

nWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Solar Project Engineer to lead the execution of large-scale, ground-mounted utility solar projects. You will be responsible for the end-to-end project lifecycle, from initial site assessment and technical design to on-site construction management and final commissioning. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in PV systems and strong field management skills to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to international quality standards.n

Key Responsibilities

- Project Execution: Oversee the complete installation of MW-scale ground-mounted solar plants, ensuring all civil and electrical works align with approved drawings.

- Site Management: Conduct site feasibility studies, topographical assessments, and soil analysis coordination to optimize plant layout.
n
- Technical Design: Utilize software like PVsyst and AutoCAD to design string configurations, inverter layouts, and DC/AC cabling for maximum yield.
n
- Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with contractors (Civil & Electrical) and OEM vendors for modules, inverters, and mounting structures.
n
- Grid Integration: Coordinate with DISCOMs and state nodal agencies for net-metering,



grid connectivity approvals, and CEIG inspections.

- Quality & Safety: Implement stringent HSE (Health, Safety, and Setting) protocols and perform quality checks on all materials and installations.
n
- Reporting: Maintain detailed project documentation, including Daily Progress Reports (DPR), BOQ tracking, and as-built drawings.

nRequired Qualifications & Skillsn

n
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Renewable Energy.
n
- Experience: 2–5 years of proven experience specifically in Ground-Mounted or Utility-Scale solar projects (MW scale).
n
- Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, PVsyst, and project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
n
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of DC/AC design, switchyards, transformers, and HT/LT power evacuation.
n
- Soft Skills: Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and the ability to manage large on-site workforces.
n
- Mobility: Willingness to work at project sites in and around Bhiwani, Haryana.
