Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Teaching

- Plan and deliver General Science / Physical Science lessons aligned with board curriculum and school standards.
- Teach core Physics and Chemistry concepts using real-life applications, experiments, and demonstrations.
- Promote hands-on learning through lab activities, models, simulations, and inquiry-based methods.
- Prepare lesson plans, unit plans, worksheets, and activities catering to diverse learning levels.
- Integrate digital tools, presentations, and simulations to strengthen conceptual understanding.
- Encourage participation in science fairs, projects, quizzes, Olympiads, and exhibitions.
- Ensure laboratory safety and proper handling of equipment and materials.

Assessment & Student Support

- Design formative and summative assessments that evaluate understanding, application, and skills.
- Assess learning through tests, lab records, projects, and assignments.
- Provide constructive feedback and academic guidance for improvement.
- Identify learning gaps and conduct remedial or enrichment support as required.

Collaboration & Parent Engagement

- Work collaboratively with subject teachers to support interdisciplinary learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding academic progress and learning strategies.
- Support students’ learning beyond classrooms through guided projects and resources.

Behavior & Classroom Management

- Maintain a positive, disciplined,



and respectful learning environment in classrooms and labs.
- Encourage curiosity, confidence, and a growth mindset toward Science.
- Address classroom behavior with fairness, consistency, and guidance.

School Administration

- Maintain accurate records of assessments, lab work, and student progress.
- Support examination processes including paper setting, evaluation, and invigilation.
- Contribute to school activities such as science clubs, assemblies, exhibitions, and competitions.
- Follow school policies, documentation standards, and professional conduct.

Qualifications & Skills

- B.Sc (Physics/Chemistry) with B.Ed (mandatory); Master’s degree preferred.
- Strong conceptual clarity in Physics and Chemistry at the high school level.
- Prior high school teaching experience preferred.
- Ability to explain complex concepts in simple, age-appropriate language.
- Effective communication, classroom management, and teamwork skills.
- Comfort with technology-enabled teaching and digital resources.

Commitment Requirement

Candidates must be willing to commit to a minimum period of three (3) years, ensuring continuity in academic delivery, student mentoring, and institutional growth.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
