As a Health and Safety Engineer at Ampin Energy Transition, you will be a vital member of our team, ensuring the safety and well-being of all personnel involved in our renewable energy projects across India. Your role will involve developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety programs to mitigate risks and promote a culture of safety excellence within our organization. How you will contribute: Conduct regular site inspections/audits and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with relevant health and safety regulations, codes, and standards. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate health and safety considerations into project planning, design, and execution phases. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections/audits, incident reports, training sessions, and other relevant documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. Provide expert guidance and support to project teams on health and safety best practices, protected work methods,



and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Develop, implement, and continuously improve health and safety policies, procedures, and guidelines tailored to the unique requirements of renewable energy projects. Deliver comprehensive health and safety training programs to employees, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring they are adequately prepared to perform their duties safely. Investigate incidents, accidents, near-misses, and safety-related concerns promptly and thoroughly, and develop effective corrective and preventive actions to mitigate recurrence. Stay abreast of emerging health and safety trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in the renewable energy industry, and incorporate them into company policies and practices as appropriate.
