Job Summary We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Commis 1 to join our kitchen team in Itanagar As a Commis 1 you will support the Chef de Partie and kitchen team in preparing high-quality food maintaining hygiene standards and ensuring smooth kitchen operations This is a great prospect for someone looking to grow their culinary career in a professional setting Key Responsibilities Assist in preparing ingredients and cooking dishes as per the instructions of the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and at your workstation Follow standard recipes and presentation specifications as directed Ensure all food is stored handled and prepared in a hygienic and safe manner Work in various sections of the kitchen as needed e g hot cold pastry etc Support the team in mise en place portion control and food prep for service Communicate effectively with the kitchen team and follow all instructions Minimize wastage and assist in controlling food cost Comply with all health and safety regulations in the kitchen Requirements 1-3 years of experience in a professional kitchen hotel or restaurant experience preferred Basic knowledge of cooking techniques ingredients and kitchen equipment Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure Strong teamwork and communication skills Willingness to learn and grow in the culinary field Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety practices Preferred Experience in Indian or Continental cuisine Job Type Full-time Pay 15 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
