Position: Senior Lab Chemist – R&D; (Hydrometallurgy)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Lab Chemist to lead our R&D; efforts in Hydrometallurgy for cobalt and nickel extraction. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in laboratory management, process development, and scaling lab results to pilot plant level.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage R&D; projects related to hydrometallurgical extraction of metals
Develop, optimize, and validate metallurgical processes for cobalt and nickel
Supervise laboratory staff and ensure adherence to safety and quality protocols
Oversee analytical testing and data interpretation for process improvement
Liaise with production and engineering teams to transition R&D; outputs to plant operations
Maintain documentation, SOPs, and compliance with environmental & safety regulations
Research emerging trends, technologies, and methodologies in hydrometallurgy

Qualifications
M.Sc. / M.Tech / Ph.D. in Chemistry, Metallurgy, or related discipline




10–15 years of experience in R&D; with a focus on hydrometallurgy
Proven track record in cobalt/nickel extraction projects
Robust leadership and team management skills
Proficiency with analytical instruments and laboratory management systems
