Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Mechatronics Engineer to build and deploy next-generation outdoor autonomous mobile robots (AMRs).

You will work on real hardware, real farms, real environments — translating concepts into field-ready systems. If you enjoy building, breaking, fixing, and improving systems, this role is for you.

What You Will Be Responsible For1. Robotics Hardware & Electronics Integration

- Lead system-level assembly of electronic subsystems (PCBs, enclosures)
- Design and build rugged, weather-resistant cable harnesses
- Integrate battery systems (BMS) and power distribution architectures
- Ensure reliable operation in high-vibration outdoor environments

2. Embedded Systems & Motion Control

- Flash, debug, and validate firmware on ESP32 / STM32 platforms
- Calibrate motor drivers and tune PID control loops
- Perform hardware bring-up and low-level debugging
- Ensure accurate encoder feedback vs physical motion alignment

3. Mechanical Design & Actuation

- Design and integrate drive systems (gearboxes,



shafts, couplings, wheels)
- Select motors (DC / BLDC / Servo) based on torque and field conditions
- Ensure precision alignment and mechanical robustness
- Optimize systems for outdoor durability and performance

4. Sensor Integration & Field Testing

- Mount and align LiDAR, IMU, GPS, and cameras
- Validate communication across CAN, I2C, UART protocols
- Use oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for debugging
- Conduct field trials, failure analysis, and iterative improvements

5. Documentation & Quality Systems

- Maintain BOMs, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings
- Track prototype performance via hardware vitals sheets
- Follow structured testing and validation checklists
- Document learnings for scalable product development

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of electronics schematics

- Hands-on experience with multimeter-based debugging

- Practical exposure to mechanical assembly and tools

- Basic knowledge of embedded programming (C/C++)

- Understanding of motors, gear systems, and actuation

Preferred Qualifications

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechatronics / Robotics / Mechanical / ECE / EEE
