We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer with a keen interest in power system analysis and a robust willingness to learn and work with ETAP software. The candidate will assist in the modeling, analysis, and documentation of electrical distribution systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in building and validating single-line diagrams using ETAP.
- Support in performing load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination studies, and other power system analyses in ETAP.
- Aid in creating project documentation including reports, calculation sheets, and panel schedules.
- Help interpret client-provided electrical single-line diagrams, drawings, specifications, and field data.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop reliable and code-compliant electrical models.
- Maintain organized project files and adhere to QA/QC procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and project stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree (or pursuing final year) in Power Systems or related field.
- Strong fundamentals in electrical power systems (3-phase systems, fault current, protective devices, system coordination).
- Willingness to learn and develop expertise in ETAP under experienced professionals.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Revit, or Excel-based calculations is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and understand single-line diagrams.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Basic exposure to ETAP during academics, internships, or projects will be preferred.
