Techolas Technologies Palakkad is looking for an experienced academic counsellor physically located in Palakkad, Kerala. The salary package for this role is 15,000 - 30,000 rupees depending on the experience and interview performance.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an academic counsellor (preferably in an Ed Tech company) is mandatory. Other candidates will be rejected.
Techolas Palakkad specializes in tutoring IT courses like web development, data analytics, business analytics etc to college graduates.
Responsibilities
- Cold calling leads
- Meeting admission monthly targets based on which incentives will be given
- Creating a steady lead flow by reaching out to colleges and other student sources on own initiative (this is will be tracked for the monthly incentive).
- Being active on Instagram and other social media to respond to leads
- Provide guidance and support to students in selecting appropriate programs
- Planning new batches every month with the academic team
- Communication with current students and addressing their concerns
Qualifications
- Mandatory:
1-2 years experience as an academic counsellor (preferably in Ed Tech field). Other candidates will be rejected.

- Proficiency in Student Counseling and Career Counseling to support students in achieving their academic and professional objectives.
- Strong Communication skills to effectively engage with students and address their concerns in a professional manner.
- Experience in Academic Advising and familiarity with Education systems to provide tailored guidance and program recommendations.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills to manage and assist a diverse group of students efficiently.
- A Bachelors degree in Education, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Prior experience in educational counseling and knowledge of IT-related courses would be an advantage.
