We are seeking a skilled and innovative Design Engineer with experience in the racking industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in sheet metal design, BOM/BOQ calculations, and fabrication drawings, along with strong knowledge in raw material planning and structural engineering concepts. This role requires an engineering degree and a background in the racking or related industries, with relevant field experience being an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

- Product Design and Development
- Design racking solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer specifications.
- Develop and manage detailed sheet metal designs, including creation and analysis of 3D models and technical drawings.
- Generate and update BOM/BOQ to accurately reflect design requirements and support cost estimation.
- Fabrication Drawings and Documentation
- Prepare and maintain fabrication drawings with clear and accurate dimensions and tolerances for production.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that fabrication drawings are executed correctly and assist in troubleshooting design issues during the manufacturing process.
- Raw Material Planning
- Plan and manage the procurement of raw materials required for fabrication in alignment with project timelines.




- Coordinate with the procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials, optimizing usage, and minimizing wastage.
- Project Coordination and Quality Assurance
- Work closely with project managers and production supervisors to ensure designs align with project requirements.
- Conduct quality checks on design outputs to maintain high standards of accuracy and functionality.

Qualifications:

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Structural, or related field).
- Experience: Minimum [X] years of experience in the racking industry, or sheet metal and fabrication design. Prior experience in BOQ/BOM calculations and project management is preferred.

Skills:

- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar 3D CAD software).
- Strong understanding of sheet metal design principles, fabrication processes, and material properties.
- Analytical skills for BOQ calculations and design optimization.
- Familiarity with ERP systems for raw material planning is a plus.

Job Type: Full time Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
