Job Profile - Business Development Executive (BDE)

Location: Remote (India)
Shift Timing: 3:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST (Saturday Off)
Experience: 1–3 Years
Compensation: ₹60,000 – ₹80,000 per month (On-Target Earnings)

Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Development Executive who can contribute meaningfully to revenue growth by acquiring and managing international clients.

This role goes beyond proposal writing or lead generation. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the full sales lifecycle — from identifying qualified opportunities to conducting discovery conversations, negotiating commercials, closing deals, and supporting long-term account growth.

This role is designed for candidates who want to grow into positions such as Account Executive, Sales Manager, and Client Relationship Manager over time.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Client Engagement

- Select relevant projects from various portals and respond to client queries
- Identify and source potential leads through Upwork and other freelance platforms
- Schedule discovery calls to understand the client's project requirements and business goals
- Analyze client requirements and prepare requirement briefs

2. Proposal & Sales Execution





- Translate client needs into a clearly defined scope of work in collaboration with the BA team and coordinate with PM teams to validate the project estimates
- Negotiate pricing, scope of work, and project timelines with clients
- Submit customized final proposals aligned with client needs
- Follow up consistently to drive deal closure
- Manage the complete sales lifecycle from initial communication to contract confirmation

3. Project Handover & Account Growth

- Handover confirmed projects to the PM team with proper documentation
- Ensure a smooth transition from sales to delivery
- Maintain regular follow-ups with clients to identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities
- Build long-term client relationships to ensure repeat business

4. CRM & Reporting

- Update CRM and other tools regularly to maintain long-term, healthy client relationships for repeat business
- Monitor pipeline progress, revenue targets, and maintain proper sales documentation

Required Experience & Skills:

- 1–3 years of experience in IT Sales, Digital Sales, BDE, SDR, or sales roles
- Hands-on experience with Upwork or similar freelance platforms
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly in crafting tailored proposals
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into structured proposals
- Good understanding of sales funnels, lead qualification, and CRM tools
- Comfortable conducting discovery calls with international clients
- Ability to manage multiple clients simultaneously
- Solid ownership mindset with a desire to grow into a senior sales role

- Hybird/ Fully remote work model
- Evening shift aligned with international client time zones (3:00 PM – 1:00 AM IST)
