We are looking for a motivated and skilled SAP SD Consultant to join a global project team delivering a multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation program for a reputed international client.

This is a fully remote, freelance opportunity , ideal for consultants who want to work on large-scale global implementations, deepen their domain expertise, and contribute to high-impact business transformations.

Role: SAP SD Consultant

Type: Freelance (Independent Consultant)

Location: 100% Remote (Work from anywhere)

Duration: Multi-year engagement (Initial contract of 12 months, with strong extension potential)

Start Date: Immediate or within the next few weeks

Responsibilities

- Configure and implement core SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) processes including:
- Order Management
- Pricing & Billing
- Shipping & Delivery
- Credit Management
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into functional specifications
- Design and optimize Order-to-Cash (O2C) processes aligned with business goals
- Support testing cycles (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, UAT) and resolve functional issues
- Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements, user exits, and integrations
- Work on cross-module integration with MM, FI, and other relevant modules
- Support data migration,



cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization

Qualifications

- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience as an SAP SD Consultant
- Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes
- Experience in at least one end-to-end implementation, rollout, or support project
- Ability to work independently in a remote, global delivery environment
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with international stakeholders

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA SD
- Experience with advanced pricing, output management, and billing processes
- Familiarity with integrations across MM (Procurement), FI (Finance), and Logistics Execution
- Industry exposure in Manufacturing, FMCG, Retail, or Pharma
- Experience with EDI / IDocs / interfaces is a plus
